Hours: 12-25 hours per week (depending on days worked)
Tuesday–Thursday- 4:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
Fridays -4:30 p.m.-9:45 p.m.
Saturday -5:30 p.m.-9:45 p.m.
Rate of Pay: $11.00/Hour

Under the direction of the Youth and Teen Manager and Program Coordinator, Teen Recreation Leader/Gym Supervisor helps lead and oversee various programs that run within the Kent Parks Community Center Late Night program for teens. Late night consists of 100-150 teens daily, 7th grade – 12th grade and 5-6 staff members. Activities to be supervised include: full-court basketball, soccer, break dancing, music studio production, various game room activities and special events. Incumbent may be asked to substitute for co-workers when necessary.
Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess current CPR and First Aid cards, or have the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of job acceptance.
One (1) year or more of experience working with teens in a recreation, teaching or community center environment; knowledge of age-appropriate athletic and social activities, crafts and other large group activities for teens between 7th grade-12th grade; ability to live by Kent Parks mission of "Dedicated to Enriching Lives' and demonstrate the following characteristics: responsible, respectful, honest, energetic, passionate, flexible, original, creative, dependable, thoughtful.
