Jr. All Stars Recreation Supervisor

There are two (2) positions that will be filled by this recruitment
Hours: 8.5-10 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Program runs from September 9, 2019 through May 29, 2020
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Youth and Teen Manager and Program Coordinator, Jr. All Stars Recreation Supervisors organize and lead daily activities for children ages 6-14. The After School Program consists of approximately 25-40 participants and 2 youth leaders. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in the development and implementation of the weekly activity schedule; leading daily activities; developing positive supportive relationships with participants, parents and other department staff. Activities include homework assistance, exercise, group games/competitions, sports and nutritional programming.
- Education, Experience and Other Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 19 years of age. Must possess a valid CPR and Standard First Aid Card by start date or have the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of job acceptance. Applicants are subject to Washington State Patrol criminal history background check.Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year or more of experience working with children in a recreation, teaching or day camp environment; knowledge of age appropriate athletic and social activities, crafts and other large group activities for children between 6-14 years old. Pay: up to $14.50/hour
