What you need to know about joining the Police Department:
The City utilizes a continuous testing process for entry-level police and corrections officers. We contract with Public Safety Testing (PST) to administer both the written and physical agility portions of the selection process; applicants must pass both before they can apply with the City.
Applicants who have passed PST will receive an application link from Kent’s Human Resources Department by email. DO NOT apply unless you have received this link.
We are hiring experienced / lateral police officers. The successful candidates are eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus!
