Program runs September 20, 2021 - May 26, 2022

There are four (4) positions available


Salary:      $16.00-20.00 per hour depending on experienc

Open:        July 23, 2021

Closes:      When filled


Under the direction of the Youth and Teen Manager and Program Coordinator, Youth Leaders plan, organize and lead daily activities for children ages 6 - 12.  After school programs consist of approximately 20-30 participants and 3 staff members.  Activities include exercise, group games/competitions, sports, and nutrition.

Minimum Qualifications:     

Must be at least 16 years of age; Applicants are subject to a position-relevant background check. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

One (1) year or more of experience working with children in recreation, teaching or day camp environment; knowledge of age appropriate athletic and social activities, crafts and other large group activities for children between 6-12 years old; ability to live by Kent Parks mission of "Dedicated to Enriching Lives" and demonstrate the following characteristics: responsible, respectful, honest, energetic, passionate, flexible, original, creative, dependable, thoughtful.
